Unofficial CSU-Pueblo/UNT Political Science Poster Template

These materials create a customized landscape presentation poster.  These particular posters were presented at the 2013 conference of the Midwest Political Science Association and the 2009 conference of the Peace Science Society (International).  Images and colors can be adjusted to fit any department and institution.  Files presented here are UNT Green/Black, and CSUP Blue/Grey, but are easily adjusted to fit any color scheme.

  2. Image files: UNT_eagle
  3. Compiled PDF examples of research presented utilizing this format:
    • UNT_Poster (Presented at 2009 Peace Science Society)
    • CSUP_Poster (Presented at 2013 Midwest Political Science Association)

Please note the following:

  • The smallest poster size one should create with this format is 24Hx36W.  Separated columns cause figures and text to lose significant clarity at smaller sizes.
  • The image files above contain only the UNT Eagle image.  There are no graphs/figures included.  This image can be substituted (as, for example, the CSUP logo is) by redefining the style file.
  • File type restrictions do not allow my posting of more widely accepted notepad files. Posted files are Word documents. After downloading, copy the material from the Word documents directly into your Tex environment, and save each with the designated file extension.    If you are unable to open Word documents, please contact me directly.
  • Both the .tex and .sty files must be open in your environment to create this poster.

These materials create customized presentation slides, and are designed to teach beginning users the basic ins and outs of presentation method in Beamer.
